  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Seasoned keyboardist, vocalist, and songwriter Cole DeGenova brings his eclectically soulful sound to new galaxies on the upcoming album Really Human. The highly-anticipated 4th release from the Chicago-based artist combines the hypnotically spaced out electronic grooves of co-producer Georgia Anne Muldrow, the raw energy of DeGenova’s hard-hitting performances, the poignant insight of his lyrics, as well as the prodigious musicianship of the artist coming into his own. The album explores the desire to transcend the materialistic 21st Century world we live in while simultaneously feeling the constraints of being “really human.”

Also an in-demand studio musician and touring performer, Cole DeGenova has recorded and/or performed with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Gallant, Brett Dennen, Lupe Fiasco, Dave Shaw (of the Revivalists), Paula Cole, Dave King, Naughty Professor, The Heard, Deep Fayed, and experimental jazz rock trio Hanging Hearts. His song "Hollywood Girl" was a finalist in the 2015 American Songwriting Awards and he is the recipient of a 2019 City of Chicago DCASE Artist Grant. He was also the co-founder of the Chicago artist collective The Gala.
